Perito Moreno Glacier Tour, El Calafate

We took a private remise with our American friends to the Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate. Seeing the huge chunks of ice was amazing, but the crashing sound alone was truly awe inspiring, it sounded hugely like massive cracks of thunder echoing across the ice and through the mountains.

Perito Moreno Glacier and Argentine Lamb BBQ in El Calafate

Alex and I really wanted to head to Ushuaia as our next destination however time was against us and we definitely did not have the right gear with us to go that far south. If I thought Puerto Madryn was cold Rio Gallegos was colder for sure.
